Jessica Biel looked stunning in her Beatriz Boutique Collection lookalike, while Karen Elson shimmered in a Beatriz Boutique Collection lookalike. View the side-by-side photos below, and click each one to go to that style’s purchase page!

What to Wear With Colored Hair Part 3: Breathtaking Brunettes

Now that we’ve got Blonde Bombshells and Ravishing Redheads’ clothing colors covered, we can move on to the darker-hued girls (starting with Brunettes)! But first, we have to give you warning about the wide variety of brunette shades out there:

Explaining the dress colors that complement Brunettes is a difficult task because the rules seem to do a 180 depending on your hair’s undertones (or lack thereof). To make things easier for you, we’ve split this entry into three sections: Warm Brunettes (red/orange/gold undertones), Cool Brunettes (blue/green/gray undertones), and Neutral Brunettes (you guessed it: neutral undertones). If you’re unsure which category you fall into, check out the informative “Tone” section of this article (click the tone palette preview to go to the article).

So whether your hair is a soft golden amber, a rich red-tinted mahogany or a deep coffee-bean brown, we’ll tell you how to rock it to the extreme for your next formal occasion (or really any day) – just scroll down to see some Precious Formals color inspirations!

What to Wear With Colored Hair Part 2: Ravishing Redheads

Just like our Blonde Bombshells post a few weeks ago stated, some colors can really bring out a Redhead’s beauty while others can really diminish it. Do you know what your best colors are, and which you should really avoid? Well, we’ve made it easy for you to find out!

Scroll down and you’ll find a number of different hues based on our research of hair-clothing color complementing. You should definitely keep these tips in mind when prepping for prom or your next formal event!

Remember to finish our article, because some of the colors redheads should (almost) never wear are listed at the end!

All Shades: Always-Flattering Greens

All redheads should be able to pull off multiple hues of green, from frosty meadow to vibrant emerald. Greens will make your hair pop and your eyes glisten, too!

Fiery/Copper Shades: Warm Pastels

Girls with dark shades of red, including true red, should opt for warm pastels to complement their hair and – more than likely – their skin tone. Try one of the three following color groups for maximum vibrance!

Strawberry/Auburn Shades: Jewel Tones

Lighter-red shades, like strawberry blondes or brown-based auburns, are best complemented by jewel tones. Royal is our personal fave, but any of the following color groups will surely help you make a statement at any formal event, or even in everyday wear!

Steer Clear

Try to avoid these hues as much as possible, especially at special occasions!

Make Sure Your Prom Dress is One-of-a-Kind with Beatrice Couture!

It’s every girl’s worst nightmare: you show up to prom in the dress, just to glance across the dance floor and see a mirror-image on someone else. Maybe you’ll look better than that girl who stole your dress idea, but what if you don’t? No one should take that chance – so how can you avoid it? By shopping with Beatrice Couture!

It’s important to shop for prom at a store that cares about your prom look as much as you do! At Beatrice Couture, it’s our #1 priority to be sure you’re the only one at your school’s prom wearing a specific style. That’s why we feature two super-exclusive collections that are only sold on our site! You literally cannot purchase our BB & BC styles anywhere else, and we register prom-buyers based on school to ensure that two girls don’t buy the same style.

Whether you’re choosing a short dress or a long gown (or some length in-between), you’ll definitely be rocking a unique look when you shop at BeatriceCouture.com!

What to Wear With Colored Hair Part 1: Blonde Bombshells

Whether you’re au-natural or a bottled blonde, one thing is true: there are colors that will complement your hair, and colors that won’t. Luckily, we’re here to help you find your perfect formal occasion look!

Scroll down for some blonde-enhancing hues, but make sure you finish reading because we’ve listed some equally-important colors to avoid, too!

Lights

Most blondes can pull off pastel shades of almost any tint or tone. If you choose a soft pink, a light green or a pastel purple, you’re sure to look amazing on your big night!

blonde lights

Brights

Blondes don’t have to shy away from bolds! In fact, bright reds, blues and purples are perfect complementary colors to any light-haired girl. If you do choose red, make sure it’s a pure shade – avoid orange tints!

Neutrals

Solid black is often a go-to hue for blondes, because the high contrast between hair and clothing creates an amazing effect! Other neutral shades that blondes can pull off include browns and dark silvers/greys.

Steer Clear

While you can have your pick from the colors above, make sure you avoid these shades when searching for the perfect dress:
